{Character Interview} Eric Danvers of 'The Heart of the Matter'

We’re thrilled to be talking to Eric Danvers from P Nelson’s The Heart of the Matter.  It is a pleasure to have him with us today at Pimp That Character!

Thank you for your interview, Eric.  How old are you and what do you do for a living?

-Little subs do not get to ask their Masters how old they are. I will tell you I am in my mid thirties. I run my families import/ export business with my sisters.

What would I love the most about you?

-I like to think of myself as a hard, but fair Dom. I’m definitely going to put you over my knee for acting out, but you will know its coming. And I will never punish you without providing after care.

What makes you angry?

-Subs who try and top their Doms. There is nothing that irritates me more than when a Dom has lost control of his sub and he/she starts calling the shots. The power exchange is through the Dom/sub dynamic not the other way around.

What is in your refrigerator right now?

-Beer and whatever the grocery delivery service has brought. I don’t cook much for myself and eat out mostly.

What is your idea of a perfect day?

-Waking up next to a naked sub and tying her up for some hot morning sex. Having a short break for lunch but heading right back into the dungeon for some more serious bondage.

Are you a loner or do you prefer to surround yourself with friends?

-I’m friendly with quite a few of the Doms and subs at The Cage. We are a tight knit group who helps each other out even if we think we don’t need it.

What is your favorite weather?

-Can’t beat a sunny day in Vancouver. Even better if its one of the rare ones in the Vancouver winter, especially after fresh snowfall.

What’s your idea of a perfect meal?

-An aged porterhouse steak cooked to rare on the BBQ over coals, not gas. Baked jacket potato and a green salad. Seriously the salad is only there because I feel socially obligated to add something green because my momma taught me to eat my veggies. Granville Island Pale Ale to wash it down would finish it off nicely.

What is your most treasured possession?

-My motorboat. There is nothing better than exploring the coastline of Vancouver on a hot sunny day.

If you knew you were going to die tomorrow, what would you do today?

-I would go to The Cage and visit with all of my friends. Find a hot, cooperative sub to tie up and tease. She’d get more than her fair share of spankings, but she would also have my undivided attention making our combined pleasure on these final hours unforgettable. The Cage is a true home for me and I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else for my end of day.

About the Book:

Eric Danvers thought he had found the perfect submissive before she was swept right out of his arms.

Now pining after the one woman he can’t have, Master Eric finds himself stuck in a gruelling cycle of emotional torture that has nothing to do with his BDSM lifestyle. Just as he was about to take a hiatus from The Cage and the lifestyle altogether, Master Eric is asked to take on the role of training Dom for one of the new subs. Rather than agreeing, he’s coerced into the role and finds there’s more
to his new training sub than meets the eye.

Elizabeth Williams is a sub on a mission.

Elizabeth Williams has read every single book on BDSM she can get her hands on, and she feels as if this is the lifestyle for her. After saving up for an entire year and working an extra job, she finally had enough money to enter the couples training program at the most exclusive BDSM club in Vancouver. Unfortunately, as soon as Elizabeth and her boyfriend are accepted, he decides that he wants a different sub. Elizabeth decides not to let go of her dream and enters the submissive training program.

Master Eric soon finds that Elizabeth Williams may be more sub than he can handle. He loves her brattiness, but he knows it hides a pool of inner hurt that cried out to his Dom instincts to heal. Elizabeth falls for Mater Eric as soon as she meets him and really believes she cannot help her brattiness. She wants to give him her true submission, but she might not be able to set aside her past hurts to move on. Read the story of Master Eric and Elizabeth in The Heart of the Matter.
