Character Interview: Bryce Decker of Tough Karma: A Race Against Time by Laura Simmons

We’re thrilled to be talking to Bryce Decker from Laura Simmons, Tough Karma: A Race Against Time.  It is a pleasure to have him with us today at Pimp That Character!

Thank you for your interview, Bryce.  How old are you and what do you do for a living?  

 I’m 38 years old and own a chain of Martial Arts Studios in the Washington, D.C. area.  I also teach martial arts classes twice a week.

Can you tell us about one of your most distinguishable features?   

I’m six feet three inches tall and have a shaved head. My shaved head would be my most

distinguishable feature.

What would I love the most about you?    

I’m a man of my word.

What would I hate the most about you?   

I can go to great lengths to get even with someone who has wronged me or my loved ones.

Where do you go when you are angry?   

My basement to work out my frustrations; it’s an extra gym session.

What makes you laugh out loud?   

Ron White, one of the comedians on the Blue Collar Comedy Tour.

What is your greatest fear?   

Losing Amber, she’s the love of my life.

What is the trait you most not like about yourself?  

 There isn’t a particular trait I don’t like; however, there are parts of my past I’m not proud of.  I was involved in an underground gambling club and would rough people up who didn’t pay their debts. Also, I referred people to hitmen when they needed a job done.

Do you think the author portrayed you accurately?   

Yes. I told her exactly what to write about me.

What are three must haves when shopping at the grocery store?   

Grass-fed beef, cage-free eggs, and spinach.

She has a fascination with all things metaphysical.
